Firestick IPTV Setup

Get TheStreamPlug running on your Fire TV Stick in under 10 minutes.

Part 1: Prepare Your Firestick

    Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

    Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Apps from Unknown Sources → On. This lets you install apps not on the Amazon App Store.

    Install Downloader

    Search "Downloader" in the Fire TV search bar. Install the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews (free).

    Open Downloader and navigate to URL

    Open Downloader, tap the URL bar, and enter: https://tivimate.com — then follow the prompts to download the APK installer.

Part 2: Install TiViMate & Add Your Playlist

    Install TiViMate

    After downloading, tap Install to install TiViMate. Once installed, open TiViMate.

    Add your playlist

    Tap "Add Playlist" → "M3U playlist" → enter your M3U URL from your welcome email. Tap "Next" to confirm.

    Name your playlist

    Name it "TheStreamPlug" and tap Next. TiViMate will load all channels (may take 1–2 minutes).

    Set up EPG

    Go to Settings → EPG → enter your EPG URL from your welcome email. Tap Save. EPG data populates within 1–2 hours.

Pro Tips

Use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi for the most stable stream. In TiViMate Settings → Player, set the player to ExoPlayer for best compatibility. Add your favorite channels to a Favourites list for quick access.
