TiViMate Setup Guide

Install TiViMate
Search "TiViMate" on the Amazon App Store or Google Play Store and install it. It's free with a premium upgrade available (the free version works with TheStreamPlug).

Open TiViMate and tap Add Playlist
On the welcome screen, tap "Add Playlist". If you've used TiViMate before, go to Settings → Playlists → + icon.

Choose M3U Playlist and enter your URL
Select "M3U playlist". Paste your M3U URL from your welcome email into the URL field.

Name your playlist
Give it a name (e.g., "TheStreamPlug") so you can identify it later if you add multiple providers.

Confirm and let channels load
Tap "Next" to confirm. TiViMate will fetch all channels — this takes 1–3 minutes depending on connection speed.

Set up the EPG (programme guide)
Go to Settings → EPG → Add EPG URL. Paste your EPG URL from your welcome email. Tap Save. EPG data populates within 1–2 hours.

Recommended playback settings
In Settings → Player, select ExoPlayer as your player. Under Buffer, increase to 30 seconds. This resolves most buffering issues.

Finding channels
Use the search icon or browse by category/group. Create a "Favourites" category: long-press any channel and select "Add to Favourites".

Build a Favourites list
Long-press a channel → Add to Favourites. Access Favourites from the home screen for instant access to your most-watched channels.

Using catch-up and time-shift
On supported channels, swipe left on the progress bar or tap the catch-up icon to go back and watch programmes you missed (up to 7 days on most channels).
